THE QUICKEST SPRINTER – HUMAN MIND

Psychologists have always agreed to the fact, “Human Mind is too busy in today’s marathon, which is identical to the road of success,’’ according to him. While I heard about it, I could not resist myself to reason this statement. Why is it true? Some says it is due to fierce competition that he has to indulge into, while some says we are self obsessed. While some disagree, there are a few who completely accede to it. Their perspective is that it is not completely wrong as we are doing for the foundation of our future.

I want to raise a question; why we are too busy building our future while screwing up our present? Our wisdom is considered to be the richest wealth, which surprisingly comes free. If this is true, then what happens to our conscience when we are left with no scope of morality and are busy laying the “FUTURE’s” foundation? Perhaps, this remains unanswered.

In the pursuit of finding about the power of human mind, public opinion is given the first priority. People say, mind is enclosed with innumerable thoughts that are differentiated as positive and negative. Well as an individual, I go the other way round. I think it is the surrounding environment, people, family that affects our thought process. Why don’t we share the same mental composition with that of our parents? Avoiding the genetics route, I say that we are different individuals with varying capacities to excel and there are various factors that contributes towards it.

As the topic highlights, the human mind has been described as a sprinter, not a runner. Sprinter is one who can move from one position to the other swiftly but with a prolific nature. Brain and mind are two terms that are not to be interchanged . Brain is a neurological term while mind is something far beyond it. Its volume may be small but the content is beyond infinity

“Millions of stars twinkle in the night sky,
Be it farther or nearer
Each twinkle with a shine,
Be it dimmer or brighter.”

Each star is unique in its own way. So are our thoughts and aspirations. Inspite of being the weakest animal, we are the creators of the greatest innovations on this planet. Studying about the tiniest microbial cells to the invention of dynamite; from the invention of wheel to the spread of advanced railways and much more has been possible because of the proper use of human mind.

So who can deny the fact that human mind is the quickest sprinter of all? It is this mind which gives us dominion over evil and victory over success.
