In keeping with our belief that education is not only about text books H.R.S.S. offers the students range of extra curricular activities. Students are given ample opportunities to show their creative energies. A wide range of activities are organized in the school in order to bring out the versatile talents of the students.
To develop quality of leadership and self reliance. Students are grouped under different houses distinguished by the houses which signify their ideals. House system provides a wide varities of activities to the students to make them realize their potential and to exhibit their creativity and innovativeness. Our houses are named on four Vedas :
Students of all class are the members of any one house for the tenure of one year . Every house is guided by 3-4 teachers. A house duty schedule is prepared every month. House
on duty is responsible for the conduct of assembly, discipline, duty on all gates and canteen during assembly and recess & maintaining of display boards.
Learning is not at all effective until and unless it is behavioral .Keeping this fact in mind, eco club was introduced so that students can relate their class rooms learning to their real life to take an initiative to make CLEAN DELHI,GREEN DELHI for everyone. Various rallies on ‘Anti Crackers’ , ‘Save environment’ and ‘Say no to plastic’ are conducted from time to time to save environment and to create awareness among the masses regarding pollution.
Eco club also motivate the students to take part in various Inter school competitions related to environment. The activities of eco club are conducted under the guidance of Mrs Sandhya Jain.
H.R.S.S. has been a regular participant in the zonal competitions. The students have brought laurels to the school both in curricular activities and Sports.
