The Hans Raj Smarak Schools are run by Hans Raj Smarak Society (Regd), founded in 1968 by Prominent Mahajans of Delhi and in other parts of India in the memory of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, advocate, a social reformer and founder of All India Mahajan Shiromani Sabha. Lala Hans Raj was born in a small town, Hamirpur, district Akhnoor , J&K in 1866.

The school conducts Examination as per the guidelines from the C.B.S.E. This new system of evaluation involves overall assessment of students in scholastic as well as co- scholastic areas and activities.
We provide quality education at our school and have qualified and dedicated team of teachers for each faculty. All grouped under different department.
School has a well maintained Library having collection of around 4000 books on various subjects .Periodicals, Journals, Magazines, Competitive Magazines etc are regular features. Students are allowed to get the books issued as required.
School has a well equipped Computer Room where the knowledge of computer is imparted to the students by our qualified computer teacher. All computers are equipped with latest and advanced software.
H.R.S.S. endeavours its efforts to provide proper facilities for training in games and sports to students manned by experienced PET Mr. Sudhir Chauhan. A separate sports room is provided for the many indoor games like table- tennis etc. for the students.
There is a prescribed set of books for each class which is available at the school book shop. However the students are not compelled to buy Books or stationery from the book shop.
The uniform for each class is available in the school uniform shop itself. The counter is opened on all working days .
Hygienic and healthy snacks are available at the canteen at the reasonable rates. Inspection of the canteen is done frequently by the higher authority regarding its hygiene.
